Prerequisite(s): A grade of ?C? or higher in NURS 320, 'credit' in NURS 320L and NURS 320C, and a grade of 'C' or higher in A.S. humanities elective. Corequisite(s): NURS 360, NURS 360L, NURS 360C. Letter grade only. NURS 362 may not be audited. NURS 362 may not be taken credit/no credit. NURS 360, NURS 360L, NURS 360C and NURS 362 are corequisite courses and the semester hours will be adjusted for the number of weeks scheduled for each course so that all required hours are completed within those weeks of the semester. All policies and procedures in the Associate?s Degree of Nursing Student Handbook apply to this course. Uniform attire purchase is required for the lab and clinical corequisite courses. Basic computer skills and a printer are needed for completion of course work and medical informatics. Health clearance and immunizations must be completed before the start of class. It is required that students have health care insurance and complete all health requirements as mandated by the industry and the College. NURS 362 is a HYBRID class: some of the work for the class will be online, and there will be at least one in-person session and/or meeting. This class may include asynchronous online work and may require one or more synchronous online class sessions and/or meetings. One or more proctored exam(s) may be required. If required, proctored exams may take place online and/or face-to-face. Students may be offered the opportunity to use an optional online testing service for a fee. This class does not require fieldwork. To take a hybrid class, you need regular access to a desktop or laptop computer and a reliable Internet connection.
